2001 Diyarbakır doğumlu Remziye Serim, Dicle Üniversitesi Sanat Tasarım Fakültesi’nden mezun olmuştur. Üretiminde betonu, insanın doğayla kurduğu baskıcı ilişkiyi simgeleyen bir metafor olarak kullanır. Video-performanslarında bedeni doğrudan bir ifade aracına dönüştürerek çevresel yıkım ve direniş temalarına odaklanır.
Born in 2001 in Diyarbakır, Remziye Serim graduated from Dicle University, Faculty of Art and Design. She uses concrete as a metaphor for humanity’s oppressive relationship with nature. In her video-performances, she transforms the body into a direct means of expression, confronting themes of ecological destruction and resistance.
